Since I’ve had my iPhone, I have tried a few different Twitter applications, finally concluding that Twitteriffic was the best. A few weeks ago, when I heard that Twitter was releasing their own iPhone app, I knew I had to give it a go. In my opinion, “Twitter for iPhone” is the best Twitter app out there. Here’s why:
First, the application is free. When a lot of companies are developing iPhone apps to make money, Twitter shows that they care about their users. Previously, Twitter had a $3 application for sale, but this update is free!
Second, Twitter for iPhone has powerful tweet creation. When writing a new tweet, one can take and post a picture, choose a picture from the photo library, add a Geotag, respond to a Username, add a hashtag, or shrink URLs. With other applications, most of these features had to be done using third-party platforms. With Twitter for iPhone, you can do all of these at one time.
Third, Twitter for iPhone’s search function is amazingly powerful, fast, and sleek. You can search under three categories: all tweets, nearby, and people. The ability to search nearby is especially helpful when searching for local news and the like. Additionally, you can save search results and access them later.
There are tons of other neat things about Twitter for iPhone, and I would definitely recommend you
try it out for yourself.
